Confidence Monday: “You don’t dress like…”

Initially, I wanted to tell you all about how this outfit came together until someone felt the need to tell me after looking at it that they like the fact that I didn’t dress like a typical Black girl…Euh?!?…*PA– USE* Was that suppose to be a compliment?!?!…I’ll say this once and for all,  I could not care less about those preconceived notions that people have about how I should dress,  how I should talk, or how I should act because I was wired this way.  I had to learn the hard way that pleasing everybody is an IMPOSSIBLE task, therefore as long as the person watching in the mirror is happy then that’s all that’s matter.

-THE END-

Blazer: Addition-Elle

Dress: Deb’s

Bag: Big Sister’s Closet

Shoes: Payless

Did I just over react?!?

Until next time remember you are wonderfully made ;-)
