Diouda: A beauty guide for black and mixed women…

While back I was contacted by Diouda, a French company who brought together on through their website a multitude of products catering to black and mix skins. From makeup, skincare and hair products everything is there and they also provide tips on how to use them. Of course, if you don’t speak or read french it’s going to be hard for you to appreciate their services because their website and their catalog is written only in French.

Diouda offered me to pick something so I could make a review for my lovely readers. Honestly, I didn’t think that it was going to be so hard to choose but it was because there was so much to choose from. Ultimately, I went for a product that I knew nothing about so I picked a cover creme foundation and a setting powder from the brand Dermablend. This cover creme foundation comes as lightweight formula and delivers a flawless complexion for 12 hours of consistent color wear.

Here’s a picture of a makeup look done with Dermablend’s cover creme foundation for a night out. This pictures was taken around 8h00 pm before I left my house.

Here’s the shot I took the same night when I came back  at 5h00 am as you can see my face looks the same. Also it’s more impressive when you learn that I was wiping out the sweat off my face all night long and that I was still looking immaculate by the end of the night.

Dermablend offers good coverage for:

  • Vitiligo
  • Birthmarks
  • Rosacea
  • Burns
  • Pigmentation Disorders
  • Post-Operative Bruising
  • Scars

Just to see I how efficient the Dermablend foundation is take a minute to watch their commercial…

Overall dealing with Diouda was very pleasant and their shipping was extremely fast but unfortunately the shipping fees are also very expensive for Canada so it’s definitely something to consider before ordering.

Until next time remember you are wonderfully made ;-)
