A while back, I could have described myself as a true “floral print hater” because of how easy it could turn an outfit into a critical situation. If you don’t believe me, take a look at the dress Kim Kardashian wore this year at the Met Gala.  (…A hot mess if you ask me!) It’s also a shame to see that even if they are getting paid the big bucks, celebrity stylists are still struggling to dress curvier silhouettes.My dear Kim K. if you need a stylist who understands your new body and will know how to dress it…CALL ME!!  Your situation is clearly getting out of hand and making the “WORST DRESSED LIST” is never a good look… I’m just saying.

Now enough of the shameless self promo and let’s get back to the real topic of today’s post, which is floral print. I’m still not fond of  ”girly girly” type of floral prints, but when usedin a way that screams Fierceness like this suit I got from Addition-Elle,  I’m all for it!. I love the pairing of floral prints on black, it definitely gives the suit and extra edge.

For some reason,  when I was getting ready to buy these shoes I made a post about it on IG and nobody seemed to like them, but for me it was love at first sight so I had to got them.

So floral prints for this summer…YAY or NAY??

A lookbook is a way to inspire you and should certainly not feel like it’s dictating you how to wear a piece you might like. For the simple fact that the suggested look may not necessarily be ideal for your figure. Here’s what I mean by that…For two looks that I’m presenting today, I used some garments from Addition-Elle’s 2013 summer collection but they have nothing to do with the theme that Addition-Elle used. Personally, it’s much more fun to try different things than to simply COPY/PASTE.

For this first outfit, I used my jeans and it’s details as a guideline for the entire look. Unfortunately, it seems that these jeans are no longer available on the Addition-Elle website, nevertheless, you may be able to find them in their liquidation stores.To keep the focus on my jeans, I paired them with top and shoes that were part of the same neutral colors.

This second look is much more colorful and I used the complementary colors on these jeans to set the tone of the entire outfit. This spring, I plan to experiment a bit more with the pastel colors.

When you see something you like on the racks, there’s always a possibility that it will not  fit EXACTLY how you had imagined it but that shouldn’t stop you from buying it.

Do you remember that dress from Addition-Elle’s 2012 Christmas collection? Well when it finally made to the sale rack there was only one left and it was four sizes too big for me and the bottom part of the dress was way too long for my likings but I still got it. Why?…Because I had already made other plans for this dress and my seamstress turned my wishes into reality. Once the changes were done all I needed was some accessories and this black peplum belt was just the perfect touch to complete the look.

I few weeks ago, I announced  that I was working on putting together a Regiment workout session especially designed for us. Because on several occasions when I was talking about my training classes some of you shared your desire to try it and others of their fears about such workout. I must tell you that all your comments have been taken into account when #QSRW was designed. Now, as promised here is all the information about the #QSRW format.

- The Queen Sized Regiment Workout is circuit training workout specially designed for plus sized divas. This workout session will consists of micro exercises repeatedly executed on short periods of time.
