FFFWeek 2012: “Two nights of runway shows “

So here we are at the closing stage of the 4th edition of FFFWeek and unlike the other years the runway shows took place on two different nights. The first one to present were the independent designers and the second night on a complete new set was the retailing brands’ turn. Also on the second night, which was the official finally, FFFWeek made sure to acknowledge important personalities whose actions are making a tremendous difference in the plus size community.

This year the bar was definitely raised in term of fashion and hopefully next year will be even better. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have been chosen to part of this year Fashion Front amongst a myriad of amazing bloggers. The experience I got from it all will only get me closer to the changes I want to make in Montreal’s fashion industry. Therefore, I would like to end this recap of FFFW’12 not by telling you how fantastic the garments of the runway were but simply saying thank you!

Thank you to Marie Denee for putting together such a wonderful collective of bloggers this year and of course thank you to the visionary Ms.Gwen DeVoe who dared doing something different and who knows maybe Ms. Devoe and her team will dare come up north the border some day.  😉
