I’m finally getting a chance to start my recap on Full Figured Fashion Week (FFFW) and that’s only because the memory card I used to take pictures of my week in New York crashed (…yeah I know just my luck). I was hoping to find someone who could recover the data on it but I didn’t. Therefore, I lost most of the pictures but I’m so happy I had these couple of shots on my cellphone because I really wanted to show you these outfits.
For FFFW, I always make a point to wear Canadian brands since I’m a Canadian fashion blogger I guess that’s my little patriotic side. This year, I reached out to Penningtons to dress me for some of the events and they kindly accepted. I remember growing up as a teenage girl; Penningtons was not offering so many trendy looks. They put a serious effort to cater to a more fashion inclined clientele and I love it. You can’t even imagine the amount of compliments I got in NYC when wearing these looks from Penningtons.
Ultimately, your style does not have to rely on one retailer in particular but it does help when the retailer in question offers trendy pieces that will allow you to showcase your personality and also make you feel good about yourself. All these looks are currently in all Penningtons’ store and you don’t live in Canada they also have an online store. I’m so happy that as a plus size fashion retailer Pennington is able to find the perfect balance between trendy and affordable and who knows maybe you’ll get to see a lot more Penningtons’ piece on the blog.

I’m curious to know when was the last time you actually went to a Pennintons store?
